Revocble vital trust and assets

Hi:

My father n law is in nursing rehab during this time. He is tighten to day 20 and could go on to day 100. We would like to request for medicaid to cover nursing home until his genocide if he is incompetent to come home.

However, his revocable trust does have a second residence and dull lot as good as his personal residence in a trust name. The problem is that my father and we have lived in a 2nd residence and have maintained, used and paid any and all losses on residence given 1981 as good as a dull lot taxes and any expenses. It is a family residence and lot handed down and was to be deeded to us during a time of my father n law’s death. Now that we are in a routine of requesting for medicaid for him, during the age (close to retirement), we unequivocally are not situated to have to empty the house, lease or buy something else after 33 years.

Am we right to assume that Medicaid will possibly force us to empty and sell or put a garnishment on the residence so when
